Freedom!

I had my follow-up appointment with my orthopedist and he gave me the all-clear to ditch the brace and return to work, and to say I'm excited is an understatement.
However, I will need to take it slow. Nearly four weeks of not using my wrist took more than a toll than I anticipated. Just this drawing alone--which took about an hour and a half--has me feeling fairly exhausted (not hurt! Just tired.), so I think I'll need to ease my way back into drawing so as not to land myself back in a brace. I'm planning on getting back to work next week at maybe 3-4 hours a day and work my way back up to 8hrs/day from there. Hopefully that'll only take a week or so, but I can't make any guarantees.
This summer has been utterly nuts. If I haven't been sick, I've been injured and if I haven't been injured, I've been sick, non-stop since mid-July. I cannot thank you all enough for being so patient and supportive during this time. Without all of your understanding and generosity, I don't know where I'd be.
