2024-03-05 20:33:21 +0000 UTCAlso tropey here and there... but IGN gave it 10/10 and Rotten Tomatoes critics 99% and audience 92% .... so you really can't go wrong with it ... especially if you're into samurai stuff like I am... Kurosawa and Kobayashi are some of my favorite directors and this really excites me!

I was skeptical before it came out, but has exceeded my expectations... still, you have to take into consideration is american television... but I honestly was pleasantly surprised by the quality... there's some plot holes, and other issues but I really just go with it as it looks impressive and the attention to detail is 👌🏼.... it's not a perfect show, but for what it is.... it's pretty damn good... just saw the 3rd episode and it's probably the weakest so far, but they are building it up nicely
