Update on Patreon Page + Future

I'm not sure people here know about the recent 'drama' that happened a while ago, where a prominent furry artist traced my work and that unleashed a barrage of other artists copying said work in a trend that ended up with death threats coming my way (for some reason lol).
Due to the rather absurd and honestly disgusting nature of all the things that came out of this, I've decided to retire from the fandom and, in a still-undetermined-way, from art itself as a whole.
The Patreon billing will be paused for as long as i decide to stay away from the biz, and if by the end of my current comm queue i feel like continuing doing it just for the sake of it, then i may return to only working on paid, private works. Then again, all of this is still indefinite, so we'll see.
With all that being said, the page will remain up for as long as i can maintain it, but obviously no one will be charged during the time i stay away, ALSO the piece for this month will still be worked on and published in due time seeing as you guys were already charged for this cycle.
Lastly, i wanna say thanks to everyone that supported me during this past year or so, it was a really tough time as i struggled quite a bit to fight the algorithm and get everything up and running in a way that felt worth it, but unfortunately both Patreon and commissions turned unsustainable as my earnings weren't enough for me to justify all the work i was doing, passion wasn't really a problem but it definitely wasn't enough.
Hope I'll see you guys someday soon, and thanks once again for everything!!!

putting urself ahead of the situation that unfolded is well worth it in the long run, especially if it helps u retain ur passion for creativity in the first place. i applaud u for stepping away from things entirely and rather abruptly; u didnt deserve the ongoing foolishness and its refreshing that u r not entertaining it either (the rationale for a 'solution' is just... WOW) while i will miss the niche uve carved out (one of my fav human x nonhuman n/sfw artists TT_TT) and wholly understand that art alone isnt entirely sustainable for the work put in, i do hope to u continue doing such, even if its in small private moments for ur eyes alone. take care of urself, sarquiat and thank u so much for what uve shared thus far.
