CAVA

Does anyone else have this restaurant on nearly every highly developed city street corner? Initially these were Zoe's Kitchens chain restaurants that were eventually bought out. I loooved Zoe's back in the day. They had a lot more variety, and it was more a lunch place. CAVA is the more quick-and-go Greek/Mediterranean version of a Chipotle. Wrap or bowl, and that's pretty much the extent of the menu. I do miss the variety of Zoe's. But admittedly, the convenience of CAVA is quite nice too. I get it all the time after a workout. Does anyone know enough to have a preference? This is the kind of Patreon content that is perhaps not desired...but necessary lol.

If you can offer variety well…then I’m all for it. But for sure I agree at times. That’s one thing I love about in-n-out. The menu never changes! And that can be refreshing

Never went to Zoe's but man do I love Cava. I actually like it when eateries focus on doing a few things well instead of offering lots of options. And I especially like that I can add all the toppings I want without having to pay extra.

It's always a pleasure to grab some whenever I am in the city though. From what i understand there was no Chic Fil A in upstate NY outside of an airport for the longest time so I am holding out hope that Cava can someday be up here.

Yeah they seem to be more in the big cities.

Never heard of it since it's nowhere to be found here. In unrelated news, I've been quiet these past few weeks because just when I had my 31st birthday, my 2002 Chevy Trailblazer broke down because of a transmission leak and was too expensive to fix so I went without a car for a couple weeks. That Chevy served me well for 8 years though. Now, after lots of research with the help of my loving parents, I have bought a brand new Toyota Corolla fresh from the dealership. The Chevy I bought from a friend of my mother's so this was the first time I ever went through the whole dealership process and it was a lot to think about but I'm thrilled to finally be driving something that's not 20+ years old.

Just here to say wish we had CAVA in the Bay Area

I've had them before when I lived in NYC and I thoroughly enjoyed it unfortunately however in upstate NY they aren't around. I'm hoping we get a location up here someday.
