OH this is such a fair point Maren, Ill definitely include this in my future polls, as I want this to become a more regular thing. (Patreon is not letting me change the setting to multiple for this poll in progress). Thank you so much for bringing this to light!

2024-08-06 13:58:06 +0000 UTCI definitely recommend enabling multiple answers because it makes more voters happy with the results. For example, my favorite option is Renamon, but they're far behind, so voting for them would be "throwing my vote away". Instead, I may as well vote for one of the options that are closer to winning so I can influence something. Enabling multiple answers helps mitigate this problem by allowing me to vote for my favorite AND influence the more probable outcomes. This option mitigates other problems as well, like the spoiler effect.
