JackJack’s Bizarre Podventure: What’s New @ the Table

It was another hiatus week for the main show. (orz) If you’ve ever wondered why we so rarely do games with the entire cast recording together at the same time, this is partially why. It’s challenging enough to coordinate 8 people for what is usually a 3 or even 4 hour session, but when you’re the actual players who'll spend that entire window on character creation? Oof. 😬

All that said, there’s still plenty of new stuff to talk about, so let’s get into it.

‘Beast’ becomes ‘monster’ becomes ‘smooth thing.’ If you’re a Friend-level patron or higher (that’s the $5 tier) there’s a Media Club Plus bonusode about JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure waiting for you, along with an accompanying screenshot post. My favorite part is how half these images could easily just be some new weird Hunter x Hunter guy. Easily! That rock with eyes? The loose snake face? That’s a Togashi guy, basically.

Duck Diamond. In Twilight Mirage news, on Sunday we resumed rebroadcasts with Twilight Mirage 27: The Miracle of the Mirage: The Siege. It’s a true whopper of an episode so get nice and comfy before you hit play.

What is that, a stick? Sylvi and Keith hit their first ending in 999 earlier this month (the VOD for which is now up on YouTube) and on Saturday they dove right back in again for more. Watch the Twitch archive of that stream here, and uh... Cross your fingers that their second run ends better than their first.

Panic! at the Trasburg Hill Theatre. Janine dug deeper into the mysteries of Life Makeover with a solo stream on Wednesday, in addition to bookending the Friday Stardew Valley multiplayer stream with even more. We’re in Trasburg now, our sister was killed with a Fitbit virus, and someone kissed a statue and now they are also probably dead?

... Yet somehow it’s still not darker than Stardew.

Have any of y’all seen Keith? We celebrated our new merch launch by streaming a few rounds of Content Warning, a game that is not in fact about being edgy but rather about handycamming your way through a spooky factory full of weirdies who want you very dead – for content! Janine, Dre, Keith and Jack staggered around and got slaughtered while cutting a slew of very good and normal promos, consummate professionals that they are.

Hey! Speaking of merch, did you hear? We dropped our spring collection last week! With all our previous releases focusing on sci-fi settings, we were committed to getting some of our fantasy seasons in the mix as well. There are Sangfielle stickers, Hieron cups, Marielda tees and more on offer. Even a dot grid notebook (very bujo-friendly!) with a cover design that genuinely made me clap with delight when I first saw it. (Stationery girlies you already know, that 89 gsm paper is suitable for dry media. 😎)
