Why I’ve Been Away… And Why I’m So Grateful

First of all, I owe you all a massive apology for my long silence. It’s been far too long since my last update, and I want to explain what’s been happening in my life. This will be a bit darker than usual, but here it is:
In July, I had a pretty bad accident that changed everything for me. While disposing of a table at a recycling center, it shattered unexpectedly, and a shard of glass struck my left eye. The injury was severe, requiring two surgeries under general anesthesia and over twenty stitches. Unfortunately, I’ve lost a significant part of my vision in that eye.
As a comic artist, this was a devastating blow—not just physically, but emotionally and mentally as well. It’s taken me weeks, if not months, to process this new reality and adjust to the challenges that come with it.
But through it all, there was one thing that gave me hope and comfort: you.
Your support, even during my absence, has been nothing short of life-saving. Because of you, I was able to focus on my recovery without the crushing weight of financial stress. Knowing that you were still here, supporting me even when I couldn’t create, helped me hold onto my passion and gave me the strength to move forward.
I can’t thank you enough. Truly, you’ve done more for my mental health than I can ever put into words. I wholeheartedly believe that it’s thanks to you that I avoided falling into depression.
I’m finally in a place where I can start drawing again, slowly but surely. My vision will never be the same, but my passion for storytelling remains as strong as ever. I’m excited to share more comics with you soon—both the ones you’ve come to love and some new projects I’ve been thinking about during my recovery.
Thank you for sticking with me through this journey. Your kindness and generosity have been my light in a very dark time. I’ll never forget it.
