I had the phrase "What's in a name" in my head for a while today, and that gave rise to this story! CN: Personality creation/overwriting.

What’s in a name?

Well, it’s a fairly good symbol of self-representation, for one. All of the things that make you, you. Wrapped up into a word or two. Your name can be thought of as you.

Well. It could be thought of. If you were capable of thinking.

For you, slowly sinking deeper into your hypnotist’s trance, you currently weren’t able to think. All you could do is sink.

Sink into their words.

Sink into the sweet surrender.

Sink into the new name they had for you.

Toy.

Short, so short even your silly brain could remember it. And so very descriptive.

A toy. To be played with. To be enjoyed. To be used. And now you are Toy, you want to be played with. You want to be enjoyed, you want to be used. Even as your hypnotist brings you back up, you feel the words fall out of your mouth, begging to be played with.
