It was a fun game the had started to play with you. Flip a coin.
If it was heads, you sank a little deeper into submission, into trance.
If it was tails, you came up a bit, mind clearing slightly.
And they would flip the coin as they spoke to you.
Letting you focus on the coin as it span gracefully through the air.
Catching the light.
Dazzling you.
And eventually, that fast spinning of the coin would make your eyes tired.
You’d keep watching the coin go up and down, as you kept on rising,
Or Falling, With each spin.
But your eyes would start to flutter. You mind would continue to relax and slow down.
And your body would start to let go.
And eventually, your eyes would close, and you would just sink.
