Their finger came away from your forehead, and you were overwhelmed with the thoughts that came rushing through.
A cascade of neural pathways firing off, making it so hard to actually sort out the noise from your thoughts.
Your noisy mind making you feel so disoriented. So lost. Just adrift in a sea of thoughts that made it so difficult to focus, to concentrate. Was your hypnotist talking to you? What words were they saying? Are they laughing? Why are they laughing?
And then that stream of thoughts was lost in the flood of the others. Over and over again, never able to complete a thought. Just able to catch snippets. And then, you felt their finger on your forehead again, and all went blank.
Their finger came away from your forehead…
