Interview

* * *
“I… I’m sorry. C-could you repeat.. Could you… Could you repeat the question?” You didn’t know what was happening to you. Ever since you had started the interview, your brain had been spacey, your thoughts would drift away before you could finish your sentences.
And the humming in the background of this office was just making it so hard to concentrate on your own answers. Though the interviewers didn’t seem perturbed. One of the panel smiled at you, understandingly. “Do you like to obey?” She said, as if it was a normal question.
You should have been taken aback by that, some part of you knew. A part of you that was several layers deep and finding it hard to surface. The you right now, didn’t mind. Of course you liked to obey. Obeying felt good. “Yes. I love to obey.”
The second panel member smiled too, a slight twinkle in his eye. “Does submission feel good?” Again, it felt right, it felt good to consider the answer to the question.
“Yes, it feels so… so…” The humming intensified. “Submission feels good.”
That was all you could get out. Your thoughts were draining away. Had the screen behind them always been on? The spiral flashing words at you? The third person on the interview panel leant forwards. Their eyes were so… so.. pretty. So easy to look at.
“Do you want to serve?” The question had a tone of finality to it. That same part of you wanted to consider it, but it was a very small part of you now. It had all felt so good, to say yes. Tingles of pleasure and relaxation throughout your body and mind.
“Y-yes. I want to serve.” The words left your lips, and you felt the humming tone change slightly. Your brain was fizzling, blanking, and as the three interviewers stood, and came closer, your mind went blank, and you remembered no more.
