Okay. This was easy. You didn’t need to drop into trance for them, no. You didn’t need to. Though it would feel nice to do so. Wouldn’t it? It would feel so nice to look into their eyes, to let their words inside your head. But no, you don’t need it. It would just feel nice.
Just like you didn’t need to feel the pleasure that being under their influence gave you. You didn’t need to feel the sweet bliss of mindlessness that their words brought. You didn’t need any of it. Not you, never. You might be needy. But you didn’t actually need it.
You did want it, however. You wanted all of it. And that was the difference. You chose to submit because you wanted to. You chose to surrender your mind, because it felt good. You chose to give yourself over to the pleasure, because it was what you wanted. Right?
