What I'm Working On #006

Hey all and happy Thanksgiving to those in the US! Here's a few quick updates of how I've spent my time this week.

Regency

This week for the Regency mod, I've been working again on getting the careers up and running. The governess career is now complete, and has a new custom uniform to go with.

I've also made headway on the clergy and socialite careers, both of which will come with some new objectives and interactions. As a socialite, your sim can engage in charity work or aspire to be an expert host, while a clergyman must work to maintain and improve their parish much in the same way the estates get improved.

Duets

This is a preview of something I've started working on for later -- multiple-instrument duets! It's always been a bit sad to me that instruments are a solitary activity in the Sims, and I hope to start with duets, but eventually figure out string quartets as well! :)

Sidesaddle

For the sidesaddle mod, I don't have a lot of pictures to share today (everything I'm working on at this point are the start/stop, transition, and boring animations), only that I'm getting closer every day. I'm down to the final 20 or so animations, and hope to be in beta testing early next week, with a planned release of December 1st.

Bugfixes

This week I spent a good chunk of time working on the Soulmates mod, and I am hopeful that I can release an update addressing gender preference in the next few days. I've also toned down the rate at which soulmates get assigned, and made it more catered to romantic interactions rather than friendship.

I also have on my radar some fixes for the Archery mod, including a string issue with the career and some players experiencing troubles with the medium and large targets. This is on my to do list for next week.
