Currency Changed to £GBP
Added 2021-03-31 12:20:29 +0000 UTCHey all! Just a quick note to say that from now on, my Patreon operates in GBP (Great British Pounds) and my one tier is now £1 GBP instead of $1 USD. To be clear, this does not mean existing patrons pay more, as far as I'm able to understand it. Everyone who has so far pledged at $1 is now showing up as pledging £0.70, for example. So don't worry.
What does change is that new patrons will pay a little more at minimum (£1 is about $1.38), which I hope isn't unfair. I don't have any higher tiers, after all.
The reason I changed it is so I can get paid out in my local currency. This helps me accurately report how much money I make, and also makes it easier to tell how much I'm actually getting from my Patreon payouts before it's in my bank.
