DISCORD: PLEASE READ

As the patreon grows, the discord grows, and inevitably a broader range of people means not everyone is going to agree all the time. THAT'S OK! I love discussions and seeing things from other perspectives. But that said, please remember the number one rule is to remain kind and respectful. 

The discord is supposed to be a FUN place, and a supportive place. It's not for fighting. Ideally, controversial discussions aren't brought into it, let's save that shit for Reddit. But if they do occasionally happen, you STILL need to be respectful. 

That being said, I have come to the point where I need MODS for the Discord. I hate to ask it, as I know YOU are paying ME on the Patreon, but if you happen to be on the server a lot and want to help me out, I'd love to consider you. 

Details: 

- Ideally, TWO moderators other than myself exist 

- Becoming a mod does NOT mean you have some obligation to pay for Patreon for forever. If you need to quit Patreon for whatever reason, just let me know and I'll find a replacement. 

- Job: best for people who have discord open in the background a lot/are already on the server a lot. Between the two of you, you'd just keep tabs on the general goings-on while I'm away. You aren't responsible for any big decisions, just if someone is acting inappropriate, you'd DM me so I can look at what's going on myself. You are welcome to step in if something "bad" is happening if you're comfortable with it. 

- Monthly DM with the Mods and Me just for me to check-in with you and see how things are going. 

COMPENSATION: Sadly, Patreon doesn't have a way to gift memberships at this time. So if you become a Mod, here's what I'll do: 

No matter what Tier you currently are, and if you are selected to be a Mod, go ahead and change to the lowest, Human, $3 tier. The two mods will be sent the exclusive link to the bonus video each month and will be added to the verbal shout-outs. 

If you are already a $3 tier, you get these two things added without having to change your pledge. 

If you are already a $5 tier, you will downsize to $3 tier and still get the extra video PLUS a verbal shout-out. 

If you are already a $13 tier, you will downsize to the $3 tier and still get the same perks you're getting now.
