I lived and studied there too at the time! Its so strange to see somewhere so familiar on CCTV being the place where something like this could happen. I often wonder if id ever walked past him in the street without even knowing. I think people often forget how real these situations are, and seeing it happen so close to home is so sad and chilling.

And the fact that he got away with such little prison time is sickening, him using all kinds of weird excuses/explanations to why he did what he did. He should be put on the first flight back to Iran if he's not a citizen, I don't know if that's cruel of me to say but seeing what a coward he is and how wonky he is in the brain PLUS pure evil... I can live with being "cruel" towards him. I just can't get over the excuses and explanations - "I'm sorry judge, I was suffering from a hard episode of pure stupitidy and missing my spine"... Great video, shame there was so little to go with but it was really well put together! I feel like you gave some justice and attention to Lorraine, "gone but never forgotten".

2023-09-01 11:04:20 +0000 UTCHi Hannah! thank you so much for choosing this one. Its a very heartbreaking case that happened in the nearest city to me (I lived there when this happened). Lorraine was very much loved, and the flat where this occured was above a kebab shop. Family and friends still leave flowers outside on the street sign opposite the shop to this day. The kebab shop has since been the target of hate as there was belief Azam was a staff member there and has always ended up with the windows smashed in.
