FETISH ICEBERG PART 5 IS HERE

Hey everyone!! Here's part 5, enjoy watching me explain Pokephilia and crotch sniffing. ALSO - please forgive me, I ended up going on several feminist rants on this one lol. I know we love feminism here but I realize sometimes it can get a little preachy when I do it too much so I'm very sorry if it comes off this way. OK ENJOY.

Hey! New patron here! I joined because I love the psychology behind sex and really enjoyed the YouTube series and I wanted to keep going! Just wanted to say that the yaoi/omegaverse community is actually also made up of a lot of queer AFAB people. As a bisexual AFAB person myself and longtime fujoshi (what BL fans call themselves, literally “rotten girl”), I’ve always found the psychology behind it fascinating! In Japan it’s a well respected genre of romance targeting mostly girls of all ages, not just a porn category as it encompasses non-sexually explicit romance to straight up explicit sexual content. It’s influence has been far reaching for decades now across all forms of Japanese media. Even mainstream anime! There’s also actually a strong queer and somewhat feminist foundation in Japan’s BL culture that differs a lot from the West. I came across this while studying the differences between the American comic industry and Japanese manga when I did my study abroad final project on it back in my uni days when I was going to school in Japan. Yaoi’s roots often come from women in Japan wanting erotic material where both people are systemically equal, and serves as a roundabout way to explore kink safely without the objectification that usually targets women. It also offers a space for women to explore queerness, since most “lesbian” porn caters to men’s interests. Yaoi tends to focus on the dynamic of the characters and the depth of their bond as well. In that sense, BL became a protected space for women’s sexual imagination, one that removes the female body entirely. It certainly is not devoid of criticism or problematic tropes whatsoever, but its origins are riveting! The psychology behind it predate modern Japan as well, as male/male relationships have been romanticized since the samurai days. Just wanted to jump in and share!

It's saying this link does not exist. Sorry for the spam comments, just want to watch the videos 🥲 none have worked for me so far

Hey! Glad to finally be on this side. I've been a "furry" for a while and all those fetishes are common in the Fandom. I have art that you can use if you want.

Jenny Wolf-Matte

Also Jenny was once asked why other Western cartoons aren't fetishized and she said "because the characters don't have giant anime eyes" 😅

Hi Hannah, to defend bronies, MLP became popular because it's actually really good not because it's like bad movies that happen to gain a cult following. The writing is good, the voice acting is good, the songs are really fun etc. etc. Jenny Nicholson has a great video essay on brony culture. I'm not gonna go as far as to defend fetishists but some of the brony community are/were very talented artists and I loved being in the fandom back in the day (end rant). Thanks for another great video!
