That comic where Mania *something* *something*...

The thing is I haven't read much yet of Andrea Benton's adventures in that Venom run, so I'll open the mic here for a few days and collect some ideas about what we could do with this very special character.

To those who are not much familiar with the character, she's a punk-goth girl who lived upstairs from FlashThompsonVenom before he soared up to his galactic adventures.

She ended up bonding with a symbiote clone who also carried a hell-mark, bonding Mania to some demoniacal situations.

More info on Mania here:

REMEMBER:
Keep it objective and straightforward.
The clearer and simple it is, greater the chance I feel like using it.

Andrea's having trouble controlling the symbiot, like it's driving her wild. Goes through flashes old stuff to see if he left anything that could help her. Finds Peter Parker's name and picture. Recognizes it from his company. Goes to see if he can help her but by the time she finds him she's so pent up she pounces and goes to town on him.

And im super tempted to take the cowriter teir just this one's for this project

That black guy

Hmmm I have something it's a very complicated idea

That black guy

Well, there's this obscure character named Black Widow -no relation to the more famous one- named Claire Voyant (seriously...). She's a a golden age character who made a deal with the devil and she basically becomes Satan's hitwoman. She appears in J. Michael Straczynski's The Twelve series, about a team of Golden Age heroes who got in suspended animation after being captured by nazis and they were rescued in the modern time. Her schtick is that she tries to defy Satan -now heavily implied to be Mephisto- an she tries to make herself a better hero. More info on her: http://marvel.wikia.com/wiki/Claire_Voyant_(Earth-616) http://www.marvunapp.com/Appendix4/blackwidowga.htm Oh, and she's canonically into women too, as she gets a goth girlfriend similar to Andi: http://akirakan.tumblr.com/post/136850948638/goddamitt-straczynski-you-had-the-chance-to-tell I've wrote some stories bringing her closer to the Spider-Man side, so this would be a nice "promotion" to that idea. Maybe a story in which she gets to mentor her, or in which satan sends Claire to stop Andi or something along those lines. Another one is her with Anya and Aracely. I normally see fanart of these three together, and I think they would be quite close. They're all three of supernatural origins, so there's a story in there. Andi gets berserk and is up to Anya and Aracely to stop her. Brig back the exoskeleton to see the glorious fight of satan-symbiote vs totemic-exoskeleton. Aracely gets sandwiched in there.

Something with the new Ghost Rider (Robbie Reyes) could be cool, since he's also an orphaned and vaguely punk-ish teenager who blundered into nearly uncontrollable Satanic powers; maybe the demonic ghost (Elias Morrow) inhabiting him (one body, two minds, one of which grants power, etc. the symbiote parallels write themselves) can't help but "worship" Mania due to the Hell Mark. Someone else also mentioned Scorn, who could be cool to use (Goo Girl meets Fucking Machines); I think she worked for the same department as Agent Venom, so maybe Flash left Mania with her in the hope that she could teach Andi how to better control her symbiote (and deal with her teenage angst, because she's also a psychiatrist) in his absence and things get heavy.

Grey G.

Well, given she's by herself. Maybe make her have a small world tour. Team-up with various heroes who aren't around that much or akin to her character traits. Maybe like Sister Grimm, Kaine, X-23 (a very good idea of the with the Circle of Four idea already said), Ghost Rider (the current one Robbi Reyes), Cloak/Dagger, Nightcrawler, Scorn (the other symbiote female that was introduced in those Carnage mini's), Miles Morales (given he's in 616 now), and any of the New Warriors.

Zechs

A number of ideas mentioned here already cover what I would suggest. Especially the ones mentioning the Circle of Four and getting help from mages. Perhaps adding on to this general idea is her dealing with frustrations of demonic and symbiote instincts by going back to her familiar settings such as high school and possibly getting the jump/hump on some unsuspecting fellow students. With her abilities, she can be a one woman goth rock orgy where ever she goes.

Venom

The idea of getting a guest mage character from 616 is appealing and quite reasonable. I'll consider that for sure. Scarlet Witch would be my first option, but I already have something saved for her in the near future.

Tracy Scops

Not a bad idea at all. But for now, I'd save something like that for later, to be able to explore more of Andy on this first one. She already shared a space on the pages of my comics a couple of times before. I'd like to give her the spotlight this time.

Tracy Scops

You're quite right. But there's also the possibility of doing a story happening during that Venom series run.

Tracy Scops

The hellmark is turning her evil (seriously trying to hurt the felons she apprehends, or something along those lines) and she seeks out the help of one or more character in the magical Marvel community (Dr. Strange, Magik, Scarlet Witch, etc.) for help, and after they help her out, she repays them with sum luvin'. Another possibility is an inter-dimensional crossover with X-Men: Evolution's Scarlet Witch, since in that universe, Wanda is also a goth/punk girl; the hellmark somehow opens up an inter-dimentional rift to the XM:E universe and she runs into Wanda who helps her control the mark and get home in exchange for goth/punk sexin'.

Quwykxz

It's a little harder to come up with something that ties back to the hell-mark, and not just to the symbiote, but here's one. In the original "Circle of Four" story in which Venom was left marked, Red Hulk and X-23 were marked too. What if the hell-marks "flared" every now and then, for the devil's amusement, causing the bearers to become uncontrollably attracted to each other? Maybe it's Halloween, or the Day of the Dead, or just the 6th hour of the 6th day of the 6th month, or something like that, and the hell-marks start glowing. Mania is out on a patrol when X-23 shows up and jumps her, and they just start going at it, like they can't stop themselves. Then Red Hulk shows up and it turns into a big 3-way while Mephisto watches through a portal.

Kyle R

She's basically on her own, venom literally ends with her being left basically alone you can literally take it in any direction you want

That black guy

Oh definitely could explore the demonhood thing depending on where in her arc you wanted to start. From what I read the managed to get the mark off of her and move it somewhere else just before secret wars dropped. I'll write up a better summary when I full wake up.

RAGS

Nice, but let's not get comfortable with easy, shall we? I think we could explore her singular demonhood and tell a story that couldn't be told the same by just replacing the alien/hosts. It's a pity she never got her own deserved series. It also means I had to come up with an original logo for her, since they never bothered to create a canon one for Mania.

Tracy Scops

This one's easy, Flash teaching Andrea how to control the symbiote. Andrea is interested in things other than controlling the suit. I believe the song is "Don't stand so close to me." By Sting....if ya catch my drift.
