About the $4000 Milestone...
Added 2016-04-30 20:03:44 +0000 UTCI hope not to jinx it, but it's been a while since we close a month above the 4K mark, so I thought it would be a nice opportunity to talk about it again and explain it a bit better for those who weren't around here last time we did this.
Basically it's an opportunity to get you patrons more involved in the conception of the stories, giving a louder voice to the themes you'd like to see in future comics.
It's not officially open yet, but I'll probably start the contest after this cycle's deliveries are done.
It consists of 3 phases:
Phase 1: Open pitches. Simple and objective suggestions of what Spidey-related cast/universe/saga you'd like to see in a new comic (only 1 per patron).
Phase 2: I personally select the 3 to 5 ideas I like the most (or thing would work properly in an 8-page porn parody) and open a poll for you to decide which ones will go into production.
Phase 3: After the poll, I start the production of 1 to 3 of the most voted ideas, which will be released after a few months, depending on the production aspects and talent involved.
There will be some rules, which I'll explain when the thing really starts in a few days (unless we fall from $4K in the next few hours).
The picture attached shows how it worked last time. The 3 winners were put in production and they are being released as promised, during the following months, as they get finished.
I hope we all have the same fun we did back then, so you can start thinking about your suggestion to share with us.
But save them until the actual thing starts, okay?

I am still considering having the contest live this month. It would be a big incentive if some of the declined pledges got fixed soon, so we could get closer to the 4K milestone again...

For instance, instead of Brock getting the Symbiote on the night when Peter removed the symbiote, its MJ that goes into the Church because of a fight earlier with Peter. Hearing Peter scream from removing the symbiote, she goes to the bell tower...only to see him leave and just in time for the symbiote to have a new host. It would be a lot more nicer Venom, but a possessive complex to Peter. Though I did get the idea from an online forum I go to. And I did base the behaviour of MJ off the original idea from having Venom being originally being a female.
