"that one taboo fetish"
out of my system, we can get back with our regular show.
Turns out that the controversial theme did trigger some inflamed patrons to rage-quit my campaign. 45 people left in May, which was a significant growth from the average of 30.
The number of decreased pledges (people who select less comics than their previous month) stayed in 17, quite within the average of 15.
On the other hand, the number of new backers stayed constant, with 38 new patrons (the same number from April).
As of now, there are 58 declined patrons, a bit above the average of 40. But that number usually goes down as good-intended patrons sort their payment issues (which will hopefully put us above the $3400 milestone again).
As usual, the next releases will be disclosed on the 15th, but I'm very confident that the particular content of these new comics will be of the higher interest of my usual readers (*hint, hint*).
Lastly,
I'll send the Recapper forms later today and the new comics should be dispatched as usual in the 5th.

Thanks for your opinion. Spidercest will return very soon. The Kamala/Miles story was greenlit very recently, so it'll take a few months of production until it's ready for release. All I can say is that Anya/Spidey story is abandoned. There will be another one with this pair quite soon.

Especially with the beastility one, which I'm not a fan of. The third I'm being wery of what I'm getting. Don’t get me wrong. I still enjoy your stuff, but lately I haven’t been pledging much to you as I use to. Not just about financials, but also the fact that sometimes your stories are somewhat lacking. “Arachnid Sexoskeletons” was the perfect example of it because I was hoping for something, but it became a disappointment. Your previous issues have shown improvement and I know it’ll do well, but I think maybe it can do better. I’m still pledging for “Spidercest” since it’s the only one that’s been your best, but it is somewhat the only on-going series you’ve got. Maybe you can try adding a second on-going series with a completely new character to boost. Don’t take it personally though. All publishers had that stumbling block but they make up for it in the end. I might pledge this month depending on what you’re publishing. I hope it’s the Kamala Khan one because she’s my absolute favorite character besides Spider-Man. I hope you do well and I will still support you as always PS. What happen to the Anya Corazon & Spidey one?

You're all good for the latest comics on the 5th. =D And yeah, fetishes hit people on very different levels and spectrum waves, and I constantly aim to explore different things now and then. I don't plan to be too edgy too often. Quite the opposite. It's just nice to step out of the usual sometimes and try new things. ;)

Anyways I'd like to comment on the fetishs thing, for the people who quit on you for this, we pay for entertainment, you're probably the only person who pumps out good Spider-Man porn regularly. If they quit, then good luck on them trying to find good quality Spidey porn. Bestiality has never squeaked me as much as uncomfortable, but I'm stubborn and see it through. The fetishs that actually makes me not want to see on any circumstance is Incest...which you have a ton, but I digress, I know I like a fetish that you don't like, but I'm not going to demand you like it, just like you aren't demanding anyone to watch the certain issue of this recent comic. Hopefully, you'll get right back on track and have 4,000 mark.

It's consistently been available on the 5th with occasional delays to the 15th. In the past you have always had great communication if there was a delay. I just wanted to clarify if the 15th more of an occasional delay and not the new norm.

And even though they're not my cup of tea, I respect them because the world is full of color and diversity. What I usually do when a creator I back post something I don't like is either ignore that and wait for the next new art I find more amusing or just say that I personally prefer something else. I respect that a significant part of my patrons might not be into some theme, and I totally get them letting me know they're not getting this month's comic(s) for this or that reason. What really impresses me is those who wrote me calling me "desperate", "sick" and whatnot because I did a story they didn't like. Well, maybe they really shouldn't be here if that's their attitude. And just to be clear, this is not just about the Zoo. It happens all the time with lots of stories I published here in the past (including the most emblematic about this guy who told me I was "taking his money" by doing stories that showed "dicks" - he only wanted lesbian ones...)
