The future of the adult gaming industry and IWH

The adult industry took a huge hit at the start of this year. Visa and Mastercard are forbidding adult content transactions even if it's just drawings (facepalm), which made sites like Gumroad to restrict adult content and others like DLsite to forbid credit cards all together which makes payments very difficult. Patreon is the only company that still allows adult content with payment flexibility at the moment.

I have a feeling that this will only get worse. Visa, Mastercard and Apple are mega-companies and they get more restrictive each year. This made me and other creators very worried about the future of our projects. That's why all adult developers are trying to diversify in case these companies force Patreon to ban adult content and the place to go is Steam.

In order for a game to be successful on Steam it needs people to buy it and review it on release. That's why I'm kindly asking you to Wishlist Indecent Wife Hana: Gravure and consider buying it when it comes out. If you are from Germany where adult content on Steam is prohibited please follow me on itch.

I'm trying to find a way to publish the main game on Steam, so I'll appreciate if you could follow my Steam developer profile to be notified when I manage to do so. You'll also get notified whenever I release any game so it's a great way to stay in touch if the whole industry collapses. XD

Where do you invest funds?

• Your donations help me dedicate 100% to this project, which I've done for quite a while. God knows I need a vacation!😂 Why don't I hire other artists? Because changing the unique art-style of the game will ruin it. Instead what I do is:

• Buying assets for the game like animated backgrounds.

• I'm hiring the best Japanese translator in the NTR scene to hopefully hire Japanese voice acting later down the road! Given how lengthy the novel is, the whole process will take some time and will be very expensive, impossible as a hobby, but thanks to you is closer to become a reality!

• I'm commissioning animations, which you could already see examples of. I have more cooking up.

• Hiring an artist to illustrate another game, so you can have more content to enjoy. You can check previews HERE.

• Graphic design and related stuff.

• Hiring, sadly, is a very difficult process, filled with bad actors (that's why hiring is a profession!) but I'm getting better at it. I need to hire a hirer! XD

Reward Schedule

• April's reward: v0.40 is April's reward and April members will find it on the DMs.

• May's reward: The next update (v0.41) is May's reward and May members will receive it on June on your DMs.

• June content: Only v0.41 is scheduled for June with no specific date.

Until further notice, as of June there will be no set schedule. I will drop the update when it's ready and enjoyable! It could be at anytime but always on a weekend.

Since the beginning of the project, more than 2 years ago, I worked non-stop on this game by myself. I managed to release monthly, however, that schedule is not feasible anymore, well, it never was as I'm getting burn out.

I want to focus on making this game the best it can be instead of worrying about fitting specific content into a specific deadline as game development isn't linear and I'm already working full-time. I know you are looking forward for my work and that makes me happy. I will continue to try to provide as much content as possible.

I know old members want to support making this project the best it can be and new members have a whole backlog of updates to enjoy. There is juicy content in the works but I can't publish a half-baked update just for the sake of being on schedule. I don't want to rush it.
