JPU Week #2

Hello everyone! New week, new video, new update!

This week we uploaded our sixth episode of Quickie: A Love Hotel Story! This series is currently what I would call our flagship show and it just brings me so much joy to make. The developers at Oppai Games have been so nice to us and I am eternally grateful for their hospitality. This episode shows off update 0.13.1 which introduced some new Hotel mechanics and two new Sara scenes! This video highlights the changes to the hotel and the first new Sara event. 

In the coming videos I am going to attempt to make the Quickie videos... shorter. This is my first step in attempting that. The honest reason? Maximizing viewership. Seriously. We are going to be playing Q:LHS until every update is out and we have done everything. Making shorter videos will hopefully lead to more retention overall and keep people coming back for more. This is also to utilize all the wonderfully drawn heart scenes in the game to get some sick thumbnails. It is a purely business decision but it will not effect the pace or the quality of the video. I am just going to be stopping when a scene ends. 

What Did I Record This Week?

Episode 1 of our Onimusha Warlords Playthrough!

Yes! We are actually doing this! After posting the question to Twitter a while back and getting all positive reception, yes, we are doing a series on this game. And yes, the raw footage for episode 1 is 1 hour and 13 minutes. This will naturally be cut down but the approach for this one is to pull back on the heavy editing and memes to let the game and myself tell a story.

What Did You Edit This Week?

QUICKIE EPISODE 7!

As of writing this I am 16 minutes in which was about two days of actual work. (aka a few hours before work) This episode has been a weird one for me since my stomach has been acting up and I had a massive headache on Wednesday. I am hoping to save this one in the second editing draft when I am feeling better. Overall I have cut 12 minutes so far! This video will be out early April if I can help it. :)

JPW Update

The first question might be, what is JPW? Well, if you didn't know, the boys here love wrestling. Like, a lot. So it's no surprise that we wanted to get on our hands on a wrestling game. But what is it going to be like? Are we just gonna play the campaign? Will we just do random one off matches? No.

JPW or Jawesome Possum Wrestling, is a series that is going to bridge the realities of Let's Plays and Machinima. We are still working it out but we want to have a series that feels like you are watching a real wrestling show. Except it's utilizing the game engine and we are using pop culture characters. 

This show is in early pre-production as we still need to figure out a LOT of things, but it is something we are very passionate about and think will be an amazing series.
