POLL: Original or Fanart Comics?

For instance I have this other idea of like Jock x nerd vibe but that could easily be turned into Danny Phantom x Dash Baxter if that pre-establish relationship from fanart is worth doing insteaed, ya know? I know it's advantageous to place a popular fanart character into an idea for the extra traction, but at the same time your original characters are designed with good appeal and it's also just fun to see your original creativity! I trust you to choose what's best or most fulfilling for each idea. Usually I find if it's an original char from you it's always fun to see as a supporter/fan of your stuff. When it's fanart if I really like the character or the character's design then it can make the comic way better, but if it's a bland character then I feel you could probably have made a more interesting original one.
