Hey Lok. I came here for Anime but that by no means would stop me subscribing to you, if there is a variety of content. That's a positive thing. You get to bring communities together. People will pick and choose what to watch. No one can control that. However those people chose you because they enjoyed your content. I'm here to watch you cook! You give alot of time to actual talk about what your watching and isn't that what a genuine reaction is? If I wanted to see someone just make shocked eyes at a screen, I got a dog that does that everyday. It actually makes you stand out. Be kind to yourself, don't stress what you can't control. yellow stawberries! as someone who also creates content on yt (just not kpop reactions) i know wholeheartedly the struggles of the algorithm discouraging you from branching out/feeling like it's punishing you when you do. i applaud you for being so open about your struggles around your channel identity and trying to allow yourself to do what you want. i feel like it's a level of transparency we don't often see. i've had to majorly cut back on the number of creators i support on patreon over the past year and you're the only kpop (and more) creator i'm still supporting on here. while i originally joined in because you're one of the only creators i know who consistently does btob content, and although i mainly lurk on other content, the vibes and variety of content have definitely been what has kept me here. it's been awesome to see you explore different forms of media and find new stuff you like watching. and im sure that the youtube community will see that as well as you continue to branch out there. take care of yourself, lok! looking forward to seeing the continued growth and exploration in 2024~

For anime reactions editing, I’d ask other reactors on how to avoid copyright (Kat and Sonny, Joey Nato have been helpful to other channels, for example.) I followed you because you’re reading the chainsaw man manga, and there’s no one reading what I read in my life (I read a lot of different things), so when you do your read-throughs it’s like reading with a friend. It’s an added bonus that you’re reacting to a few of the anime I watch. I hope you check out some more critically acclaimed manga or western graphic novels, even on your own time for personal pleasure. Watchmen, The Sandman (where my namesake Delerium is a character) are must-reads. Also, Fujimoto is a fan of Neil Gaiman who wrote The Sandman and Coraline [insert conspiracy gif here]. I think you’re more insightful than you realize, which is why I think you’re actually a born reader and you just didn’t know it. Lastly, it’s like you said, people who subscribe will just watch what they want to. That’s what I do.

Yellow strawberries! I found you through k-pop on the youtube channel initially. Enjoyed the vibes and found you on twitch and lurked on your streams once in awhile. Decided to be a patron afterwards and enjoyed watching you spiral into some of my favorite k-pop groups (MX, BTOB etc). Enjoyed your k-pop reactions and glad you got into anime/k-drama reactions since those were also my interests. After which, I lurked in some of your streams (the timing of your streams are hard to keep up as someone from Asia) before I started chatting in stream and enjoying the community vibes. Despite me making some bad takes with chatting on stream. I think what kept me around was your personality and community. It was fun to watch your interesting theories/takes with anime, you getting so excited over your favorite k-pop groups/concerts you attend to as well as your frustration/hype over k-dramas. Wish you would venture out more with k-pop since you seem to be sticking with your favorites quite a bit right now. Which I also understand fully to just react to what you enjoy. (yellow strawberries.) —okay, so. i fully recognize that there’s a certain amount of self-critique and reflection that reasonably has to be done (and i applaud you for that!) because this is literally your job and source of income. that said, a job without set expectations (ie. a 9-to-5) where you’re just following your passion can only go as far as you’re passionate about it. you have to listen to your heart if you want to thrive? it’s worth taking the risks, because you have the opportunity to bring in an even wider audience. and i’ll be supporting as long as finances and my existence allows lmao—or supporting non-monetarily if it ever comes to that. 🤍 as for your question about content influencing following: …i subscribe to creators who have things i’m interested in (a very limited number of subs due to budget, though) and often find new content that i hadn’t watched before that catches my eye. i have never Not followed someone because they post more than what i personally came for, unless there’s a very heavy ratio towards content that just isn’t my thing, because…that’s the whole point of a subscription lol. i follow a particular reactor who does everything from anime to k-dramas to western television and their comments are…horrendous when it comes to any show a patron personally dislikes or thinks is boring. so yes, it does happen, but i cannot stress to you enough that those people are not normal lmfao. bro, just…don’t fucking watch it? just move on to the shows you actually like. it’s truly not that deep. 💀 there are weeks and maybe even months when i’m only into maybe one or two shows on their schedule, but i am normal and was raised right so it’s just like…okay? godspeed to the rest of y’all, glad you’re happy, i feel no need to comment on every goddamn upload to be a hater. 🫡😭 anyway, this comment was way too long, but that’s my two cents.

I originally started watching K-Pop reaction videos on YouTube because I don't have any people in my friends group that like K-Pop, so it was kind of like watching with friends that could relate. I follow several creators on YouTube, but you're the only one that I subscribe to on Patreon. I just find your reactions to be the most personable and relatable. I originally subscribed to your Patreon for Leniverse, but since you've stopped updating it, I'm out! (hahaha j/k). I subscribed to the cosmos tier mainly for the support, but I've found myself getting into the K-drama reactions as well, so bonus. I'm not really into the anime (yet)... mainly because I find myself very picky about which anime shows I watch (only so much time in the day, ya know?)... so not really here for that, but I love that it's available if I decide I want to get into it in the future. Like you mentioned in your video, I basically watch what I want.. there are some dramas and K-Pop groups that I am not into, so I just don't watch that content. Not all content is for all people, and you're never going to "please" everyone, so just keep doing you! You're doing a fantastic job. I am not familiar with the YouTube algorithm and how that all works, but I couldn't see myself unsubscribing because you're not just doing K-Pop. If the video looks interesting to me, I'll watch it, if not, I won't (I'll probably still throw a like on it regardless, because it might help others find it that may be interested). That sad music at some point of video tho😅 Made it kinda emotional I came across your YT channel 3 years ago due to K-pop, but I subbed to Patreon for Kdramas at first and stayed here for basically everything 😅 Right now I am on K-pop tier, because I’ve already watched dramas I was interested in here with you, but I can switch or upgrade my tier anytime I feel like it and that is awesome. Tbh, your Patreon was my first Patreon ever, I have never paid for reaction content before. There were times when I cancelled my subscription and then renewed it again after months, but just because my finances were in toilet. I like that you communicate everything you worry about and there’s always text/video updates about everything related to this Patreon content. I genuinely believe that as long as you do what you really like and what you’re really passionate about, all the things you worry about going to work someday. Honestly, I think that would be nice to have dramas and anime reactions over YT. This is that type of content that usually is available only for paid members on Patreon on other platforms When I didn’t have money to pay, I would die for those videos 😄 As for people who like dramas or anime, but aren’t really into K-pop, they can just watch videos they need. I am mainly here and on youtube for the kpop stuff but I really do not mind seeing other things. I think it is easy to just choose what I want to watch and kind of "ignore" the other stuff. Especially for reaction channels it is normal to have some stuff in sub feed that you are not that interested in, I don't think anyone minds that. The right audience for your vids will find their way to you!! I can't be here or on twitch all the time but it is easy to see that you have a strong community and there are always people that enjoy your stuff.
