the anime is following the novel, and the manhwa skipped a lot of content that would take place during season 2 b/c the artist was sick. it will be nice to see the anime flesh out the story from the novel.

I would probably suggest reading the manhwa from the start until these scenes and see how you feel about continuing on, theres enough different between the anime and manhwa so far that it would be interesting to hear your thoughts on the added and changed stuff. The manhwa itself is a fantastic read though, the flow of scrolling through action scenes is one of its strengths.
