No Kings, No Masters

The PG crew discusses the recent No Kings Day protests, which brought out millions of people around the world for a demonstration of...something. How should thoughtful partisans orient themselves towards such a thing? Sam gives updates on anti-ICE activities in Chicago. Plus, some thoughts on the Mamdani - Sliwa - Cuomo cage match that was the first NYC mayoral debate.

No Kings, No Masters

I'm rewatching because a bunch of people are giving me shit. So now I'm picking up more. You're criticizing Bernie because he's been saying the same thing for 50 years? He's been saying the same thing because he's correct and nothing has changed. The no kings day didn't accomplish anything? I think it at least called some attention to the impending dictatorship. It also pissed off the wanna be dictator. Did it represent everything that we want? Of course not. Here's the thing. You gotta fuck with the cock you got. We have to drag the normies closer to our side any way that we can. We have to all work together to reach the goal. We're just starting (finally). It took the assholes 50 years to get where they are. We're going to have to do the same thing. Right now we have to do everything we can against donny and his crew. Hold your nose and get in the game.

Alright Jamie, its time to start looking for a new co-host. Sam calls themselves a revolutionary communist/Marxist, and the analysis that we get about the No Kings protests is "ehhh......i don't really know". Its getting excruciating to listen to and I think you are doing yourself a disservice by letting Sam get air time when you could be having a much more deep and fruitful discussion with.....well frankly any leftist whos read a little bit of theory. You do have a responsibility to your audience to try and heighten their political level, and this surface vibes-based breakdown of events offers nothing to your listeners. I think even the freshest, most green member of the RCA would have a far better discussion about this vacuum on the left and what the No Kings rally can tell us about class consciousness. Please, give it some serious thought.
