The state of my Pixiv Account; Fanbox will remain open for now

Greetings Citizens, it's ya boi Nio

10 years ago, I uploaded my first artwork on Pixiv as a means to allow my followers on my InkBunny account to find my human-based artworks. Over time, I found myself posting more and more works for the 18+ community to see -- to the point where I was practically allowing my art business and skills to flourish on Pixiv among other talented individuals and groups.

However, as mentioned in my different socials last week, I am here to announce that I've made the decision to eventually discontinue my art/services on the pixiv side of things.

Despite following Japanese protocols and making sure my artworks are seen, unfortunately these protocols also include linking to my other socials. Due to the system in place, I will not be able to plug my services in descriptions as an artist taking commissions or donations or the like -- nor will I be able to mention a certain site that starts with a "B"

To prevent further bans from any of my pixiv-related accounts, as of May 1st 2025 JP Standard Time, I will be uploading my final artwork on Pixiv and thus closing a huge chapter during my time on the site. All past artworks will remain public on Pixiv as a sort of art archive.

As far as the state of the Fanbox goes...

I will still try to upload here when I can, as the financial support is definitely needed. But I would not be surprised if there was some other policy change that might come in the future that could affect my Fanbox as well... so if anything happens, please understand that I will keep making art no matter how many times I'm struck down.

I am Nio, after all.

Thank you to each and every one of you that have stuck with me over the past decade. As much as I wish I can give an analytics report, I am only allowed to access this feature with membership, so unfortunately I am not able to give concrete numbers.

However, I CAN say that almost over 9800 of you crazy son-of-a-guns have been with me throughout this journey, and I can NOT thank you enough for your help in supporting my ideas, designs, dreams, triumphs, struggles, and my character as a dedicated artist, business partner, and friend.

I will be looking forward to continuing my services elsewhere. If you know where to find me, then you know.

TL;DR:

Thank you for the support for 10 years, as I have come to the decision to post my final Pixiv drawing on May 1st 2025 JP Time before leaving Pixiv and keeping all uploaded artworks as an archive before I get banned again and lose all the progress I've made as an artist on the site. The fanbox will continue to remain open for future exclusives, but I'll be uploading my free art/commission services elsewhere. You'll know where to find me.
