Between Beasts Alpha 0.2 is out!

What’s new?:

• Lily’s story progression

• Our new community character, Ashe, you’ll find her in the park at night

• Complete rework of the gallery: The new system can be accessed through the “stats book”, the little icon in the top left corner when you are at MC’s house.

                1. Features: This new gallery will allow you to see all the content that has appeared in the game so far; you can rewatch scenes or “sprite bubbles” (sprite bubbles are sprites that doesn’t have any variation), you can also see the characters IDLES and change their cloths!

                2. To celebrate this new feature, we created an option in Alexa’s last day (the one that repeats in an infinite loop after you finish her story) that will allow you to restart her story AND also restart the purple demon interactions! 

                3. For the other characters, don’t worry, you’ll only need to go and watch their final chapters to unlock the content of the previous stages (this is a little fix as they don’t really have that much content for now).

                4. Keep in mind some scenes need to be completed fully to unlock the Gallery CG!

                °The patreon version of the game also includes an exclusive feature that will unlock Everything (Except the new content) without the need to replay the scenes!

• MC thing is now full canine; all the scenes in the game that involve Anthro MC now have a canine penis. Human MC will keep the human penis.

• Overall MC dialogs in Alexa’s and Nora’s story got reworked

• Nora’s progression system got changed; now you can chose wich task to do every night, this will lead you through the different scenes in the game. For now, THERE’S NO NEW CONTENT about nora or about any of the characters in the game (Except for community OCs) As we spended a lot of time doing these important fixes!!!

Known Issues:

• The new gallery system passed through several iterations and testings to make sure it works properly, although, it may have unexpected errors, remember to report any bug, or weird interaction, in our discord channel “Bug report” section!

• We didn’t have enough time to rework the map, so we’ll do it for the next update!

What’s coming next? 

• Next chapter will finish Prometheus story arch, as Roxanne still keeps the highest popularity, and we basically owe her an update jejeje

• Reworking the map to make it more city-like

• Keep working in our community characters

• Maybe starting to do some Nora’s progression, but it will depend of time
