Dr. Xing costume exploration sketches

it all started with this notebook I bought at Kinokuniya in late 2024 and it was about half-full til recently. I like the paper but I just don't sketch as much as I used to on paper anymore! So I challenged myself to fill in the rest of the notebook and drew in 99% of the pages left, with the intention of doing more traditional drawing again. Most of the pages filled were these costume designs. These are by far not the best drawings i've produced by any means, I would even go as far as say bad on some of them, but I had a lot of fun doing it and iterating on designs. #Hardcover is doing submissions for this year's book and I want to get a chance to participate. My OC Dr. Xing fit the theme of Retro so I mainly went back to her costume, mainly inspired by 60's pressure/flight/space suits and mod fashion, before I dove into illustration thumbnails. As an informal intro for new peeps, Dr. Essie Xing is a xenobiologist. She is going to be the central character in my, hopefully at some point, erotic comic.

 the burning question: having her boobs exposed or not! haha. I am quite torn as the original design did and to me, having them fully exposed leans more into the cheesecake vibe I'm trying to go for and I think is pretty sexy, but the covered one is hot too. I like both but I am wondering if I should leave a little more to the imagination or just go all out. I'm open to feedback and opinions even on any drawings you prefer!
