June Newsletter 2025

Hey everyone, checking in with the monthly newsletter. There's lots to catch up on. I was on a vacation for about 2 weeks visiting family and for my little sister's graduation from law school! I called it a vacation as I got no work done even though I brought my supplies and intended to get something done, but didn't work out that way. I gave in and took the opportunity to just wind down which was nice.

VANCE SUBPRIME

Pages are still being inked but progress will be slowed down a little more since I have some events coming up that I will touch on.

The HLA animatic has gone few a few changes which is why it has taken me a bit to push through but I've almost nailed the final rough draft and next is cleaning up the frames, adding tones etc. I will share the rough draft for patrons in the Spicy Deluxe Tier and up.

Anime NYC

I will be tabling for the first time at ANYC this August 21-24th at the Jacob Javits Center! I've always wanted to table here so I'm very happy I got in this year. I hope to have a few new riso prints and originals for sale and little portfolio zine.

Glowpop

This one just dropped in my lap more recently. Glowpop, an indie cosmetic brands pop-up show will be happening August 1-3rd and 8-10th at 251 Elizabeth St. in NYC. I will have a few new originals on display and for sale at the event. More details to come.

Art Poll

Faith from Mirror's Edge won the latest poll and I'm already whipping up some thumbnails for a nice illustration. I don't always get to do a monthly illustration as it does take me a while to conceptualize, draw, and ink the finals amongst work, so I am changing the wording in the tier to just be the next illustration I do, for now.

New Tier

I have a new tier called Sketch Affection. It is a rebrand of the highest tier that offers a graphite drawing on some nice paper for $80 of a character or subject or your choice or leave it to me do draw one of my OCs. Another accessible way to get some originals from me.

I've also created the "Tip Jar" tier for $2. It doesn't include benefits but it's for those who simply just want to show support for the work. Any little bit is greatly appreciated!

Tier restructure

I was thinking it was about time I delete/discontinue the Spicy tier, it has been unpublished and unavailable for a long time now to encourage joining the Spicy Deluxe tier, which I still believe is the best bang for your buck. This change is in order to make sharing the work and benefits easier to each tier and assessing the value it gives to the Patreon. I want to give those especially in that tier a heads up and get some feedback from you all before I do so.
