Onyx Glasses Classic
Added 2023-04-10 19:27:08 +0000 UTCI’m almost finished with my newest “classic” line of the Onyx Glasses. Those aim to replace the 1.3.7 and previous versions. Basically those will be treated as definitive version of the tethered glasses. I’ve removed the huge HDMI converter from the right arm and placed a tiny 3.5mm Jack instead. It will be used to connect the 3.5mm Jack to HDMI cable. This way you’ll basically have small Jack on one end of the cable and HDMI on the other. It makes the glasses way more comfortable to wear and I like how those look now. I’ve modified the front frame so that it uses the whole lenses instead of notched, I’ve modified the hinges to be almost unbreakable and re-designed some of the parts to eliminate printing issues.
This of course doesn’t mean I’ve stopped working on the wireless glasses. I’ve shown you some parts of the “Air” line before but the final product will be much different as the current “Air” model is being used more in sort of a benchmark tool. I use it to test the battery life, weight and how far away can I go from transmitter.
As always, there’s still more to come and I hope I’ve explained stuff properly. I’m writing this post as I’m extremely tired 😅
