Hey everyone!
Quick post this time.
I’ve been looking into custom Android boards for my projects since Raspberry Pi isn’t particularly suited for my needs.
I’ve seen those small, Raspberry-sized MangoPi boards and some of you actually mentioned them as well. It seems that those boards would work well with my devices since there’s a composite out available.
I’ve made a lot of research trying to find stuff like schematics, diagrams etc. and found that MangoPi board also comes in that really small, stamp-shaped package.
It’s still not a perfect solution since it’s still quite big (compared to commercial glasses) but it’s way smaller than Raspberry pi zero.
I’ve also found on GitHub, open source breakout PCB for this MangoPi module.
It’s basically a simple motherboard which you just pop the Mango module into.

I feel like this board could be a perfect start for my more advanced project. I can use it to test my Mango module and in future I could design my own breakout board more suited for the glasses 👓
You can find the breakout board here :

As for Mango module, it’s available on AliExpress for pretty cheap:

(Change the board to “mcore” in spec)
