Kroashent: L'Etoile de la Louve 1
Added 2022-03-16 20:25:05 +0000 UTC[i]Moonlight shimmered down upon the dark waters of Maidensbay, Arianrhod's wheel hanging high and full as the purple aurora carried by the Eastern winds danced across the night sky. Behind it was the smaller pale moon of Faerie, tinged red as it rose low in the sky. The faerie moon didn't always appear, tied to whatever unknowable forces controlled the ebb and flow of the Veil, but its appearance when it did usually caused a stir amongst the locals, all claiming some sign of boon or bane heralded by the celestial object. Tonight, it was full as well, apparently a rare occurrence, according to Salia. Anjela didn't believe it had any real significance, but, having not seen the twin full moons before, didn't argue.
She was feeling restless, however, and decided to take a stroll along the crenelated ramparts overlooking Kermaria. The night was peaceful, a pleasant breeze making the ships in Maidensbay bob up and down, while the lights in town flickered out one by one. Anjela had already made the circuit once, but felt agitated and energized, prompting her to continue around again. She snapped off a crisp, but informal salute to the watchman and continued to walk. As she did, she could feel the breeze making the hair on the back of her neck rise, a discomfort growing with her quickening breaths...[/i]
