2023-06-28 18:24:21 +0000 UTCHmm, that can be read more than one way. I believe one way to read it is that your actions are so powerful that we know you mean business without you saying a word. That would be a compliment. Another way to read it would not be a compliment. Youโre acting so outrageous and obnoxious that we canโt focus on your words. My feeling is that Emerson was saying to work hard, keep your thoughts to yourself, and be humble.

Iโve known the snakes who speak nice words but you knew better than believe a word, and Iโve know great people of character, who no matter their words you trusted them completely. I hope and pray that I am known as a man of love and truth despite my flawed words.
