North Carolina: Corey, part 3

I met 21 year old Corey through Grindr soon after I moved to Charlotte. He certainly had the right amount of vanity for our shoot and confidence. He was one of those self-assured young gay guys who knows what he brings to the table and knows that at least in a small pond like Charlotte, he'll do alright. We ended up shooting for a couple hours or so and when all was said and done and I sent him the final images weeks later, he was pretty pleased. In the end, I realized he was one of those who really just gets off on being photographed and loves the attention and showing off. Again, a good trait from my perspective.

We did our shoot at the now-abandoned Stonewall Jackson School outside the city. You may recognize it from a previous post and model, as I used it 3 different times. It's a big campus comprised of several beautiful, large, old brick buildings, though I've only ever been able to access one. Here's an excerpt from it's past: "In 1948 as part of continuing statewide efforts to limit “feeblemindedness” and improve the population, the Stonewall Jackson School was the site of sterilization by vasectomy of six teenage white males, in operations authorized by the state Eugenics Board. Most sterilizations were performed on girls and women rather than boys or men. North Carolina was one of the last states that continued to perform sterilizations on people under state care."

There was something I really liked about shooting young, fit and nude guys at this location, given it's past. I think the many more erotic and aroused images I have from here speak even more to it's unfortunate and sketchy past. Of course, the aroused images I can't share here, but I'll do my best to post ones that lead up to it 😏
