January 2023 Update - Annual Subscriptions and the next Q&A

Hi Guys.

A belated ‘happy new year’ to you all. I hope it has been a good one so far, preferably packed with an appropriate amount of deception, damsel-hunting, and unnecessary alliteration.

First of all, I’d just like to apologize for the lack of new Fabled characters. As I mentioned in a brief update on our Discord server, the code to implement these new characters (and a lot of other cool stuff) has been ready for some time, but we have been held up by issues with implementation and artwork. Rather than rush them out and have them suck, we’ve opted to keep them in the oven a little longer.

Some of you may have noticed that this Patreon page now has the option for annual subscriptions. If you wish to switch to an annual subscription right now, you’ll get a 10% discount for the full 12 months.

For existing patrons, the following steps will help you switch over your pledge to annual.

Log in, hover over your profile icon in the top right corner, and select Manage memberships
From your Active Memberships page, click Edit next to the pledge you want to change
Select the Annual option on the checkout page
Click the Update button. You’ll be charged upfront for the discounted price

The Discord server now has a ticket system, which should make it much easier to contact the moderators if you have any issues on the server or during games on the app. You can check out more info on how to submit a ticket in Edd’s most recent Discord announcement.

Finally, the next Patreon Q&A will take place on Tuesday 31st January. Please see below for a breakdown of when this’ll go live in your local timezone. If you have any questions that you’d like answered during this stream, please put them in the q-and-a-live-chat channel on the DIscord server and we’ll try to get through all of them. This month I’ll be joined by Edd, so we’ll be especially equipped to answer questions regarding community and volunteer related stuff.
