There's a brand new character coming this week!

Hi patrons.

Thanks so much for all the support you've shown during the first months of our app's development. We would not have been able to create this complex and unique tool without your help, both financially and practically. It's high time we gave you some more value for your money, so I'm delighted to be able to inform you all that this Thursday we'll be showcasing a brand new character on the official Twitch channel. This will then be followed by the addition of said character, to both the app and the script tool, the following day.

We'll then be proceeding to release a character a month, every month, for the foreseeable future. These characters will come packaged with any required functionality from the app (similar to the Spy, Psychopath, Lil' Monsta etc.) The aim here is to continue to playtest the experimental characters that will make up the bulk of future expansion scripts, whilst giving online players something new to sink their teeth into, on a regular basis.

We're well aware that a lot of you don't play new characters, you play new scripts. After all, the quality of a game of BOTC relies on the quality of the script being played. For that reason, we'll also be releasing each character alongside a companion script, created by an experienced Storyteller from our Fabled community, so that you can get straight into playing with it.
