Kuala Lumpur: Ben

Thirty-six year old hunk Ben and I connected last time I was in Kuala Lumpur. I had just 2 days left in the city and I really wanted to find one more, strong and solid guy to photograph. A good friend of mine in Singapore suggested Ben, so I added his Instagram and sent him a message. It was a long shot, as it meant there was only really one day we could do it and that was the very next day. Lucky for me, he had the week off work as he was preparing for his body building competition on the weekend. We chatted a bit and made a plan.

The morning of the shoot, Ben picked me up from my place and we headed into the morning traffic, off to a location I had used on my previous trip to KL. We were pretty chatty in the DMs the day before, so I already knew we had good banter and would get along and in person it only solidified that. We hit it off and by the end had a really great and fun shoot.

Sometimes you get lucky with timing and meeting the right people - the kind of people who remind me how great it is to travel the world and make new friends all over. Ben is definitely someone I hope to connect with again on my next trip to KL.
