Statuesque Nate was a unique and great find on my last trip to Singapore. He's in his late 30s and a professional suit and tie guy with a ripped physique. Tall with lean muscle and a striking, chiseled face - really makes him stand out.

The shoot wasn't too planned out - only by a couple days or so while I was in town. He was eager, punctual and polite and considerate - always great qualities I hope for when finding someone to shoot. We meet at the agreed spot and make our way along the muddy trail into the jungle and to my beloved Istana Woodneuk - my forever favorite and reliable go-to in Singapore.

Given my first impression of him and all, no surprise he shows up with a neatly organized and packed bag with a variety of underwear options, all of the same brand for the most part - and not a cheap one at that 😂

Looking at Nate and knowing his profession and image, he still had some surprises for me. He was more than willing to step out of his comfort zone and go off into a sketchy abandoned location to strip down, get dirty and model for me. I'm grateful he was so open and trusting and in the end he made sure to tell me how much fun he had and how glad he was to do it. Meeting such interesting, positive and open people along the way really helps solidify my love of what I do as I travel around the world. Not all encounters are like this, of course - but the great ones hopefully outshine the not-so-great ones,
