Update #2

Hey,

Progress is going smoothly on the Kingdom Hearts 3 script. I have 3,300 words or so down, and now that I've hashed out some of the particulars about its structure and content, it shouldn't be much longer until it's finished. I plan to release the video in February. 

As for the future, this is where I would have loved to release a schedule of sorts, at least for March and April. Alas, I find myself at somewhat of a crossroads. 

One of the videos I am doing this year is a Breath of the Wild Revisited. Not only did I make my video very close to the game's release, I did it before all of the DLC was announced, and I did it with a style and format I am no longer proud of. Essentially, I feel like I approached that video in the worst way possible, and wish I could redo it.

However, that brings with it a certain other temptation, one I've wrestled with for a very long time: redoing my other 3D Zelda videos. I know many of you hold those videos in a high regard, but I certainly do not. I was six years younger, had almost no experience creating videos, and have changed so drastically since then that if I were to make videos on the games nowadays, they would look nothing like them. 

I am leaning towards doing them, but then there comes a host of other questions. Shall I do individual videos on them again? That will take a very long time, and since I'd want to make room for other projects, it would take even longer to get all of those videos done. Alternatively, I could release them all back-to-back, but that would mean the Ocarina video would take an even longer time to be released. I also don't think I like doing more than two or three videos about the same subject in a row anymore. 

I could put them all in a single video. This has worked well for me in the past, and would probably still allow those older videos to stand on their own much better. It would would be one of the longest videos I've ever made, and I have no idea how long it would take to create. Putting everything into one video might create a clearer thesis, though. 

It's a difficult situation, especially because even if I do solve it, I'll then have to figure out where I'm placing them on the schedule. I'm also grappling with the question of covering Tears of the Kingdom at its release, since I personally feel like my Breath of the Wild video suffered greatly from being released so soon after the game's release.

For now, I'll stick to one problem though. Should I revisit the 3D Zelda games? Or should it just be Breath of the Wild?
