Last month, we've had the 5th anniversary of our premiere with v0.1 back in July 2020. The team composition has varied a bit throughout the years, but we're very proud we're still here and working to provide you with the best visual novel we can. On this occasion, I want to present to you something we've been working on for the past month, a feature still a bit experimental but tested:

Dawn Chorus now has a legacy mode! If you've missed our previous iteration of sprites, also done by Haku, or you're up for a bit of nostalgia, or you're simply curious: now in the game menu in Preferences, on the left you'll find INSERT CODE. Input the code legacy there and you'll see a new option in Preferences - a switch to the old set of sprites. A word of warning - turning legacy mode on or off will restart the app. The old sprites might not be compliant with SFW mode. We're working on that at the moment, but the implementation of everything was time and effort-intensive - me and Sqee were working on it jointly for the last two weeks now.

Also out now - Haku worked on a newer sprite for Devon. We've kept the design almost wholly intact, but changed the pose completely. The new sprite is much closer to my intentions - firm, stern and dependable, but with a soft side too. It's been available and discussed for a while as a sneak peek, now we're presenting it to all our patrons (it's not yet in the public update!). We hope you'll like it!
