S'mae pawb!
Today we are going to be looking at another aspect of our nemesis, the letter Y. Yep, just when you thought this pesky letter couldn't go against the phonetics of the language anymore.. turns out we're not done. We'll also look at unwritten vowel sounds occurring between 2 consecutive consonants at the end of words (think like a svarabhakti vowel butt not quite) and dropping the letter F when it follows A at the end of words.
As always, please do not hesitate to ask questions or for clarification on anything.
I'm really enjoying these language rules videos, but if you'd like to return to the 625 words to get you fluent list do let me know.
I also spent 3 hours colouring in the borders for these new maps I made lol so if you would like a breakdown of the dialects borders and why Powyseg is bigger in the 4 dialect map compared to the one on it's own, drop a comment and I'll make an explanatory video.
Mwynha!
