A Tiny Delay!

Hello!! Well, I banked real hard on having this video exported and uploaded and processed and set to "live" at 11:59pm Pacific Time today as a wonderful (and hilarious) joke about the definition of "Monday," though I've absolutely hit a wall of sleep-needfulness :-(

I'm sorry. I'm going to have to post the video tomorrow instead. All that remains is a final pass on the audio (which is much, much, much better than the audio was last time).

Let's think of it this way: if I hadn't announced the release date as "Monday," I wouldn't have finished this thing until Friday. Deadlines work even when you miss them. In fact, from a user experience design perspective, one could argue that deadlines work especially when you miss them. 

I had a panicky moment today wherein a Big New Segment I brainstormed yesterday after accidentally checking Twitter and seeing that THE LAST OF US PART II "Discourse" is a "thing" that exists suddenly and perfectly crystallized in my head and I would almost rather drop dead than NOT spend a day producing it and jamming it onto the end of this video. 

On the other hand, I'd probably better stop. Maybe I'll try to do Something Like It in the future, in another video. 

Though man, wow, man . . . wow, man. Man, it is such a good idea. And it'd practically make itself. I mean, I have all the footage already . . .

If I see 100 comments saying "spend a day doing the thing" when I wake up in the morning, I'll do it. It's up to you all. (I can't tell you what The Thing is because it'd be a spoiler.)

I've recently gone and said out loud on Twitter that I refuse to split my videos up into multiple videos, and I want each one to be a Box Set of itself. So if I don't make this dumb little 10-minute thing and jam it onto this video, it ain't gonna get made and jammed onto no video never. So choose wisely.

Or maybe I could do it for the eventual Blu Ray Box Set "director's cut"? Who's interested in something like that?

All in all, I think I did pretty well on this video with just two weeks of work!

Also, Wednesday, I figure I might as well stream all the way through THE LAST OF US (Part One) on twitch.tv/actionbutton so we can all talk about the review, and get ready for Part Two, and such.

For the next video, I'm gonna need to use the full month, at least.

Yes, the next game is extremely decided, and I even have a monstrously complicated "angle" for the review. It's gonna be huge and weird and maybe you'll love it. I dare not spoil what it is, though I will spoil that I'm gonna have a little more help than usual making it. And I have several Streaming Events planned around this game. It's gonna get wild. More on that, soon . . .

Oh! Also, I have a couple phone calls this week re: merch. Yes, soon an Action Button T-Shirt at least will exist. And a brand-new website, soon!! Wow, there's so much stuff happening . . . it's almost like if I didn't spend 20 hours a day seven days a week working on these videos I'd be able to get some other stuff done, huh?
