Hey everyone! Lets talk cars~

I feel like I owe y'all a blog! How's it going out there in internet-land? This month has been so strange in LA, the governor shut LA down again, but it seems like everyone is just figuring out loopholes to stay open. All the restaurants are just turning their parking lots into outdoor dining... I suppose all of these businesses need to survive, but stuff is pretty scary. I hope you're all staying healthy!

Things with me are good. The antique mall I have a booth in is still open (for now). Because of all of the hauling I do with clothing racks, furniture etc with my side business, I've been considering getting a truck... but they all seem so lame! I decided to test drive one and then remembered... my drivers license is expired! I had renewed my drivers license online 2 months ago, and it never arrived-so I've been driving around when I shouldn't have been. I finally went to get my license sorted this week and spent 5 hours (yes you read that right!) waiting in line at the DMV. That was a lesson in patience big time. Insanely hot outside, wearing a mask while they announce that anyone with a DUI gets first priority and could skip the line (WTF!). But..... I now finally have a real ID, and my reason for getting it was so that I could test drive a Chevy SSR. I've been looking at different options and I thought the chevy SSR would have both the right amount of cute and convenience... but when I looked at it, it actually really lacked in convenience. 2 seater, the top doesn't come off the truck bed (what's the point of even having a truck bed then?!) and they're hard to get parts for. *sigh* so it got me fantasizing again about just buying my dream car. I think maybe what I need to do is get a 4 seater convenience truck (anyone know of cute ones...help!), but really I need to figure out a way to just get a Delorean so I can check it off my bucket list. I've wanted one since I saw Back to the Future 3 in the theater when I was super little. I have almost purchased one 3 separate times, and backed out each time for a few reasons... essentially not being knowledgeable enough about cars and concerned about safety. I think its time I just do it, and learn along the way. Are any of you car guys? What I really want is a Delorean with a honda engine, lol. So maybe I get a Delorean and a monster truck... or a Delorean and an El Camino... I feel like my nissan isn't gonna cut it for too much longer. It is already having so many issues (full transmission replacement at 50k miles!!!). Help! Hook a girl up! Any of you ever own a delorean?

okay, I better get back to house cleaning. I thought for sure in quarantine I'd end up having a spic and span house, but somehow its even dirtier than before. Womp*
