Rough few months

Hey everyone,

I figure I owe y’all a blog, I’m beyond overdue. The last few months have been pretty rough on me. I have had some personal health issues, and my dog Kash got diagnosed with cancer. I quickly became his live in nurse, always watching over him and loving him. He passed away on Tuesday at just under 14 years old.

The history Kash had is quite amazing. He belonged to a porn star and knew tons of celebrities. He lived in the Roosevelt hotel in Hollywood, was brought as a guard on adult sets… I adopted him when he was 9 years old. A hard place to adopt an old mastiff, I didn’t think I’d have him close to 4 years. I spoiled the heck out of him, and he got many more years of love from the models who would crash at my home in their travels. Occasionally he even ran into old friends. A local photographer I’m friends with came to my birthday party and walked right past me and said “oh my god, it’s Kash!” And ran to hug the dog. The photographer proceeded to tell me he used to shoot porn in LA 8 or so years ago and he had met Kash many times. My Kashy was for sure my daily ray of sunshine, and I can’t describe my sadness in losing him. Cheers to the love of our pets, although I’m very sad, I’m also so grateful to have had him and the joy he brought to my life.
