I think something I've really lost over the last few years is the fun in becoming someone else in images. It's hard to describe really, but when I put on a wig, ballet fetish shoes... I become another entity. I create a different identity, a personality that gives way less f*cks... that sort of thing. In real life I'm shy, I'm mild mannered. But... I've learned to become "Carlotta" in the sense of knowing how to turn on and off of a presence. The persona of 'model' has become so second nature, I worry I've become slightly lazy in the safety of what I know looks good (bikinis, basic images). But these early images of my modeling career, I'm someone else. It's not really Carlotta, it's a badder bitch. Someone who demands attention. Creates a scene. Captures all eyes. I need to revisit my wigs, my chains, my fetish heels. I just pulled out a huge bag of latex clothing and I really want to shoot some of that in the near future...Know of any good photographers to capture that style of work?

anyway, looking forward to more dress up! Revisiting some of this old content is making me nostalgic and very inspired!
