Added 2021-07-22 17:57:38 +0000 UTCHello Blackbirds! An unexpected addendum to yesterday’s update: As I suspected, my package of July’s postcards was stolen. I expected to simply take the sizable hit for that and accept being quite off schedule to boot.
This morning, the bandit evidently determined that a mass quantity of circus clown postcards was not a fenceable good (a smart call), and against all odds... returned it to my stoop, torn open but undamaged.
Barring yet another equally improbable act of god, these postcards WILL be going out next week as planned. Thank you for joining me on a roller coaster of a saga, and thank you VERY much to all those who expressed their support. The real curse was broken by the friends we made along the way.
