Changes in the payment system.

Hello, everyone! I have an announcement about how my Patreon is going to work starting very soon. Due to a rising number of people abusing the way that payments are taken through Patreon, I'm going to be swapping to a slightly different payment system. For everyone already subscribed, there will be almost zero changes to how it works for you! But I'll explain below.

Basically, this change will mean that new subscribers will have to pay immediately when they subscribe, instead of waiting until the first day of the next month. This way, people won't be able to subscribe, earn my benefits, and then cancel before the month ends to get it all for free. After the first month, they'll simply pay on the first day of each month, like usual.

For all people already subscribed, everything will stay basically the same! The only difference for you is that, if you choose to upgrade to a higher tier, you'll just have to pay the difference right away. (If you pay $10 at the start of the month, and then upgrade to the $20 tier a few days later, you'll just have to pay the extra $10 for that month. You'll pay $20 each month starting on the next month.) Everything else will work exactly the same! You'll still be charged on the first day of each month, and you won't pay any more or less than you already are.

One note, though: For the first month, upgrade payments get a little bit weird. So, just to make sure that nobody is charged extra: If you are already subscribed and you want to UPGRADE to a higher tier, wait until AFTER the start of June to do so. Once I make this change, upgrading during the rest of the month will charge the full price. (An extra $20 instead of just the added $10, for example.) This will only last from the time I make the change to the first day of the next month. After that, it will all be normal.
