Included in our December Theme One are these hands and portrait references, to be applied to the figure, studies separately, however you see fit.
"Yuletide", inspired by concepts of Greensleeves, King Henry's love song, the more ancient Celtic tradition of the Holly branch and the Green Knight, and various medieval and Art Nouveau ideas of the angelic lady, or a lady symbolizing Christmas-tide and the end of year festivities.
Whether you use these as sketching practice, figure or drapery studies, or to expand on for illustrative or concept design projects, the reference is meant as a foundation to ground what you create, not to hinder the imaginative process of making your own work.
And please be sure to be courteous and cite the help; When sharing whatever you make from my reference material, it is good form and legally correct to mention the model (Mairin-Taj Caya) and tag (IG: @Caya_Art, Patreon: Mairin-Taj Caya) to credit considerately and share the opportunity for others. Next week, theme TWO will be posted, with a sneak peek prior!
Have a beautiful season, everyone.
