3x5 Friday - Figure Study #18 {Month of Love #3}
Added 2022-02-19 01:20:10 +0000 UTCIn honor of the month of Love, as I like to call it, the four 3x5 Fridays this month will be a bit different: in red-hue pencils, capturing figurative expressions of four types of love, from the Greek categories.
Today's type of love:
Eros - romantic/erotic love - is a love expressed and shared with the physical body. Not limited to intercourse, Eros captures gesture, touch, and interplay between people {or with self} through mutual, respectful, and consentual physical affection.
The beauty, joy, and intimacy accessed through embodied love is another gift we have in life, and it is not only a form of communication or expression, but can facilitate deep healing, connectedness to ourselves and others, and greater longevity.
I like honoring love in all it's forms, because it shows up with such beautiful and functional variation in life. So let's celebrate it this month!

***Update: last week our teenager brought Covid home from her school, she got it, and now this week me and my partner have had it, so my work has had tto pause while I am in recovery mode. I am sleeping a lot. This means our themed photoshoot content this month will be delayed, but I promise it will be uploaded as soon as I am more fully recovered.
